A year full of chances and changes

After a challenging year 2020 we are looking ahead optimistically to 2021 and would like to share a few words by our CEO Bert Sutter with you:

"I believe that 2021 will be full of challenges as well as opportunities. Most likely the pandemic will peter out in the course of the year. After the rigorous stresses of the past year, the economy will finally be able to return to its actual tasks of research and development, manufacture and sales, and improving lives. Whereas according to recent studies 80 percent of all medical device companies had to deal with sales drops in 2020, signs point to future growth again. Fortunately, and contrary to the trend, our company has coped well although our medical products are not of immediate relevance to the present crisis. This is all the more pleasing as we could also celebrate our 50th company anniversary in 2020. In the course of this year, we will move the company to a new location in the nearby town of Emmendingen. While we are in the midst of organizing the massive logistical challenges involved, we have every reason to look forward to the future with anticipation!

Together with our customers, our partners and our employees, we successfully mastered the recent year, and I would like to thank everyone who contributed to it. We will continue to work towards our goal of making the work of surgeons and the lives of patients better with our innovative products and solutions this year. I wish you a good, successful, healthy and happy new year 2021."
